I have spent the last week on the road. Jim and I left for Indiana to attend the Circular Sock Machine Convention in Nashville, Indiana. I was concerned about the trip as we had to replan our route due to flooding in Iowa. We ended up going through St. Louis and then over. We spent the night in Effingham, Illinois and arrived at the Abe Martin Lodge on Sunday afternoon. We had a cabin that we stayed at from Sunday through Thursday morning. The cabins and the area were decorated with the characters of Kin Hubbard.
Inside the lodge were some interesting pieces.
